Pentecost is not only the birthday of the church but also a holiday which reminds us that the church is and always has been international. Therefore we invite all those who like to worship in English to a service on Pentecost Monday at the Jakobskirche in Weimar – June 9, 2025 | 11 a.m.
We will listen to scriptural readings, sing traditional and modern hymns and celebrate Pentecost in community with one another. There will also be music with the Jakob Singers and a bilingual programme for children during the worship service. A little reception with coffee / tea and biscuits will follow the service.
